Illustrated Manuscripts and Printed Books:
French Renaissance Gems

The Newberry Library
23 March 2011 -- 27 May 2011

I designed this exhibition for Chicago's Newberry Library in collaboration with graphic designer Jason Gagovski. The exhibition featured 20 illuminated manuscripts and early printed books created in France between 1450 to 1550. A smaller companion show to the Art Institute's "Kings, Queens, and Courtiers," the exhibition was designed to reflect the rich colors and textures of the books themselves.
